Care Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.2% w/v Antiseptic Mouthwash Peppermint Flavour 300ml

This mouthwash helps to treat and prevent gum disease (gingivitis). It can also be used to treat recurring mouth ulcers, oral thrush, denture sores, or simply to help maintain good oral hygiene. 

The inclusion of chlorhexidine digluconate, a disinfectant and antiseptic, helps reduce the formation of dental plaque and fight infection in the mouth and upper throat.

Usage Instructions:

Suitable for use in children, adults, and the elderly.

For gingivitis, use as below for 1 month.

For mouth ulcers and thrush, use as below, continuing for 2 days after symptoms have passed.

For denture sores, use as below, and also soak dentures for 15 minutes, 2 times a day.

• Use the solution only in the mouth. Do not swallow.
• Measure out 10ml in the cup provided.
• Rinse the mouth thoroughly for about 1 minute, then spit out the solution.
• Use it twice a day.

Ingredients:

Active Ingredient: Chlorhexidine digluconate 0.2% w/v.

Other Ingredients: Ethanol, castor oil polyoxyl hydrogenated, menthol, anise oil, aspartame (E951) and purified water. Alcohol content: 7% vol.

Warnings:

This product should only be used if the doctor has told you to do so.

If symptoms persist, stop use and consult your doctor or dentist.

Once the product is opened, use it within 28 days.

Toothpastes may stop the solution from working properly if they are used immediately after. Use the toothpaste first, or at a different time of day, and rinse your mouth before using the solution.

If you are pregnant, might be pregnant, or are breastfeeding, ask your doctor before use.

This product contains aspartame, a source of phenylalanine, which may be harmful for people with phenylketonuria. Also contains castor oil polyoxyl hydrogenated which may cause skin reactions.

Do not use it if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
