AeroChamber - Plus Flow-Vu

This device helps people inhale Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) medications correctly.

Using this device with your inhaler helps ensure that your medicine is delivered where it’s needed and limits the amount that ends up in the back of the throat. The chamber comes with a Flow-Vu dedicated inhalation indicator that moves as you breathe, assuring you of correct use and medication delivery. It fits all commonly prescribed metered dose inhalers and soft mist inhalers.

Usage Instructions:

1. Remove the protective cap from the inhaler and from the mouthpiece of the aerochamber.
2. Shake the inhaler for a few seconds immediately before each use (this mixes the contents of the inhaler).
3. Insert the inhaler into the backpiece of the chamber.
4. Place the aerochamber mouthpiece into your mouth and form a seal, which prevents the drug from escaping; ensure your tongue remains flat and does not get in the way of the mouthpiece. The Flow-Vu indicator will only work properly if you have a good seal.
5. Start to breathe in and out slowly through your mouth, filling and emptying your lungs.
6. Once the breathing pattern is well-established, press the inhaler down only once at the beginning of a slow inhalation, as the Flow-Vu indicator moves towards you. Use the Flow-Vi indicator to count your breaths.
7. With your mouth still forming a seal on the mouthpiece, continue to breathe in and out slowly through your mouth, five or six times. If you hear a whistling sound, you are breathing too quickly.
8. Remove the device from your mouth.
9. For a second dose, wait 30 seconds before repeating steps 2-8.

Soak the product once a week in warm soapy water for 15 minutes, then allow it to air dry.
