Description
This cream is an effective treatment for both internal and external haemorrhoids (piles) that can be used to relieve painful symptoms, irritation and swelling caused by piles, and can help the healing process by reducing swelling. The active ingredients help to soothe and protect the area around the anus, while the cream base acts as an emollient to help the passage of stools and reduces straining during bowel movements.
Usage Instructions:
Thoroughly wash and dry your hands before applying this product. Before using the product for the first time, ensure the tube seal is not broken. Remove the seal before first use.
If using this product for external haemorrhoids, directly apply the cream to the affected area.
If using for internal haemorrhoids, screw the applicator nozzle onto the tube and smear some of the cream onto the outside of the nozzle. This will help ease application. Then, carefully insert the applicator into the opening of the anus. Gently squeeze the tube whilst slowly withdrawing the nozzle, so that the cream moves gently up the anus
Replace the cap after use.
Apply to the affected area at least 2 times daily, with a minimum of 3-4 hours between applications (but do not use more than 4 times within any 24 hour period). Applications are particularly recommended after a bowel movement.
Ingredients:
Active Ingredients (W/W): Zinc Oxide 6.6% And Lidocaine Hydrochloride 0.7%
Also contains: Emulsifying Wax, White Soft Paraffin, Methyl Salicylate, Methyl Hydroxybenzoate (E218), Butyl Hydroxybenzoate And Water (See Leaflet For Further Information).
Warnings:
Do not use the product more than 4 times within any 24 hour period.
Do not use it if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Speak to your doctor if:
- You continually suffer from haemorrhoids or have severe haemorrhoids
- You experience excessive bleeding
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
If you experience irritation at the site of application after applying the product, stop using and seek advice from your doctor.
